The announcement of the new rules regarding New Zealand Immigration in 2021 has been remarkable. It has opened the gateway for people from offshore countries to contribute their skills that will ensure the remarkable growth of the economy of the country. There are certain eligibility criteria that every candidate must fulfill.
According to the decent NZ immigration new rules 2021 for residency, the applicant must fulfill the following criteria:
Have been in New Zealand in 2021
Have an application submitted that was granted later
Additional Criteria to Fulfill
Additional criteria to meet include the following:
Settled criteria – It is all about the fact that the candidate has resided in New Zealand for at least three years.
Skilled criteria – According to these criteria, the earning of the applicant must have been a minimum of NZD $27 on an hourly basis
Scarce criteria – The scarce criteria are all about the applicant who has worked in a role that is on the scarce list.
The application for resident visa 2021 has commenced in December 2021. The applicants may include their partners and children that are dependent in the residence application. The applications can be easily submitted via an online channel too. For applying in Phase-1, the following criteria must be fulfilled:
The applicant must have applied earlier for residence under the skilled migrant or residence from Work categories on or earlier than 29th September 2021
Applied for a skilled migrant category expression of interest (EOI)
Included the names of dependent children in the EOI aged between 17 to 29 years as on September 2021
Additional rules for availing immigration in New Zealand include the following:
The candidate must be in a good medical condition
The candidate must have an approved character certificate from the authority of the native country
If you are a holder of a student visa, then you are not eligible for 2021 resident visa. There is at present, no plan for broadening your eligibility criteria.
